Company Profile
North Ayrshire Educational Services serves a school population of around 20,000 pupils in 53 primary, 9 secondary and 4 special schools. Younger children attend one of the Council's 40 nurseries or approved voluntary or private nurseries.
The recently restructured Community Services focuses on maintaining the strong traditions of lifelong learning and capacity building, and is now developing projects emerging from the integrated service.
Active learning is well-embedded throughout our schools. The development of Curriculum for Excellence, with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and health and well-being, has been supported through collaborative learning, cross-curricular work and learning outdoors.
