Curriculum for Excellence is taken forward through a CfE lead officer, a 3-18 Strategic Steering Group and 3-18 subject Steering Groups.

Title Total Numeracy
Description The complete numeracy scheme for P1 and P2
All you need to give your P1 and P2 pupils a mastery of the basic numeracy skills: counting, addition and subtraction. Based on research into how young children learn to perform mental calculations, Total Numeracy is focused both on raising attainment and on narrowing the attainment gap. The Teaching Pack contains teacher's books and class materials, while the Pupil Pack contains workbooks for each child.
Teaching Pack
Contains lessons and class materials from the start of P1 right through till the end of P2, including Teacher's Books for P1 and P2 with comprehensive, detailed starter activities and lesson plans; tough, durable board games; and plastic picture sheets and cards for demonstrating addition and subtraction.
Pupil Pack
Contains disposable workbooks for use with the Total Numeracy Teaching Pack.
Each pack contains sets of workbooks for 20 pupils which will last them from the start of P1 through to the end of P2. The workbooks are colourful, engaging and child-friendly. Activities include practice pages for writing numerals, pictorial counting exercises using different strategies, word problems and fromal notation problems.
