East Ayrshire Council Educational & Social Services
In July 2000, the Social Work Department and the Education Department merged to form the Department of Educational & Social Services. By uniting both services in the one department, the Council will provide improved services for the people of East Ayrshire.
The department has built on its strong relationship to promote an even greater partnership that shares its responsibilities and provides the best possible services for our customers, among them some of the most vulnerable people in East Ayrshire.
